Frequently Asked Questions

  • The retail shops on the first floor maintain their own hours of operation (see their individual websites for details) but generally will be open 7 days a week from 11AM to 4PM.

    The 2nd floor featured exhibition space operates on the following schedule:

    - Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (last entry)
    - Friday & Saturday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM (last entry)
    - Sunday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (last entry)

  • The Paperwork is located in the historic Old Sacramento Waterfront district and has ample parking available.

    1. Metered street parking throughout Old Sacramento.

    2. City Parking structure on Capitol Mall

    4. Firehouse Alley parking lot on L St and Firehouse Alley

  • Yes! We are fully wheelchair accessible.

  • Approximately 6 months.

  • Entry to the 1st floor of The Paperworks is free to all visitors. We have an expanding selection of hand-picked retail shops, boutiques, art galleries on the 1st floor and a bar/restaurant in basement level of the building (accessed at the back of the building in Firehouse Alley).

    There is a fee to enter the featured exhibition area on the 2nd floor. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time or at our ticketing office on the 1st floor just past the elevator.
