EcoPress is a Sacramento upcycling art studio transforming plastic waste into beautiful, functional goods. While many people “wishcycle”, placing items in recycling bins hoping they are recyclable, EcoPress gives those materials a real second life.

Using locally collected #2 plastic waste like bottle caps, milk jugs, and household containers, each piece is melted, reshaped, and handcrafted into jewelry, home goods, furniture, signage, and artwork. We also take 2L #1 PET bottles and turn them into 3D print filament using a PET winder. But EcoPress is more than a store, it’s an interactive, community-driven space where visitors can experience sustainability in action.

Located in Old Sacramento, EcoPress offers hands-on workshops, school field trips, and private events like birthday parties, where participants can learn how plastic is transformed and even create their own pieces. Inspired by the worldwide Precious Plastic community, EcoPress invites people of all ages to rethink waste, get creative, and be part of a more sustainable future through live demonstrations and community partnerships.
